TCMA Annual Report 2021 45 21st Ordinary General Meeting The 21st Ordinary General Meeting of the Association was held electronically on 26 May 2021. Opened with the inaugural speeches of the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB), Chairperson at the time Ali Fuat Taşkesenlioğlu, Borsa İstanbul CEO and Board Member Korkmaz Ergun and the Association’s Chairperson at the time Tevfik Eraslan, the meeting was attended by 128 market professionals of our 215 members. Strong Women of Strong Türkiye Summit Organized by Sabah Daily on 4 March 2021 at Turkuvaz Media Center, ‘Strong Women of Strong Türkiye Summit’ brought together Türkiye’s strong women. The Association was among the sponsors of the summit which assembled successful women in politics, sports, culture and arts, and business world. MEETINGS AND EVENTS For the future of sector We shed light on the sector’s future with educational and developmental activities including meetings, seminars, conferences and panels aimed at bringing our institutions together and responding to their demands. 19th Golden Compass Event Management Award With the 4th Turkish Capital Markets Summit organized in 2019, our Association earned the 19th Golden Compass Event Management Award given by the Turkish Public Relations Association (TÜHİD). At the award gala held on 11 March 2021, our Association claimed the award in the ‘Event Management’ category at the 19th Golden Compass Türkiye PR Awards, which is one of the most prestigious recognition programs in the communication sector.
