Webinar: Post-Pandemic Social Issues On 8 March 2021, the Association, the Turkish Institutional Investment Managers Association (TKYD) and European Fund and Asset Management (EFAMA) co-organized a webinar titled “Post-Pandemic Social Issues”. David Birch, a recognized international thought leader in digital identity and digital currency and one of most important global FinTech leaders, and Dr. Sabine Dittrich, specialized in legal, compliance and public policies regarding financial service, participated in the webinar. Webinar: Obstacles Faced by Startups The webinar titled “Obstacles Faced by Startups” was held on 23 March 2021, which was coorganized by the Association Erdem & Erdem Law Office. The topics addressed in the free-of-charge webinar included legal obstacles faced by startups, legal obstacles faced by startups at the time of establishment, receiving investment, funding or investor’s exit and developments in startup investments during the pandemic, financial obstacles faced by entrepreneurs and recent positive developments in the financing front in the startup ecosystem, a sectoral overview of retail startups, problems faced in e-commerce, and the contributions of multi-channel and omni-channel platforms to retailers.
